1 year to the day from the day we trudged half a mile through the mud in the middle of the Vietnamese jungle to get Thomas from the orphanage, we finalized his adoption and got his name legally changed to "Thomas Michael Linh Kaduk." The judge was great! He even gave Thomas a gift to commemorate this day. It's been obvious to us since he joined our family that he belonged with us. Now he's got the name!

I remember when Chris and I finalized our two adoptions, what a special day that was! I am so happy for your family! Thomas looks adorable!

The Judge gave Thomas an uncirculated 2008 Quarter in a small case. He also gave him his own "Certificate of Adoption."
